Getting Paid: How and When Your Commission Lands

From booking to bank account, how Curated’s commission scheme works.

You’ve shared the guides, your audience has booked – now what? This guide walks through how commission moves through the Curated system and onto your payout method.

1. When is commission earned?

You earn commission when:

  1. A traveller books a stay through one of your check-ins on Curated.

  2. The hotel confirms the booking and the guest actually checks in.

  3. The stay completes without cancellation or major changes.

Until check-in, the commission sits in a pending status.

2. Where can I see what I’ve earned?

Head to your Commission tab to see:

  • Total earned lifetime

  • Pending vs. confirmed commission

  • Breakdown by hotel, date, guide or content

  • Payment history (what’s already been paid out)

Use filters to understand which guides and spaces are making you the most.

3. When do payouts happen?

Payouts are made on a monthly cycle for all bookings that took place that month. After the stay has taken place, the commission moves from “pending” to “confirmed” and joins the next payout batch.

Depending on travel dates, a stay booked today might be paid out 1–3 months later.

4. Minimum payout thresholds

We have a minimum payment threshold of £50. If you’re under the threshold, your earnings simply roll over to the next month.

5. How do I update my payout details?

Go to Settings → Payments to:

  • Add or change your payout method

  • Update bank details

  • View any payout issues or holds

Always keep this up to date to avoid delays.

6. What if I think something is missing?

If you think a booking is missing, please just drop us a note and we’ll be more than happy to look into it.
