How Content Drives Bookings on Curated

Unlock your travel content’s full potential through Curated

Curated isn’t just a place to drop pretty pictures. It’s built to help creators turn travel content into living, breathing, bookable recommendations. Here’s how content flows through the system.

Introducing, Check-Ins

The backbone of Curated are ‘Check-Ins’, posts about spaces you have been to and experienced. They’re an easy way to turn content you capture during your stay into rich, dynamic guides full of high quality visuals, longer form written content and top tips. Each Check-In has the following:

  • A title

  • A tagged space

  • A caption

  • Gallery of media (photo & video)

  • Captions, top tips and product links at the individual media level

  • A packing list

  • A booking widget

  • More information about the space

Each piece of content is designed to drive travellers to book through your recommendation or save to book at a later date.

How content connects to bookings

Every Check-In has its own booking widget for users to pop in their dates, view available rooms and book. When somebody books through your content, you get 5% of the total booking value.

How your content gets discovered

We help your travel content become searchable and evergreen through Curated with posts appearing in:

  • The homepage content feed, this is personalised for each user but based off who they follow, their interests and previous searches

  • Search results on the homepage (typical searches are for destinations, vibes, occasions)

  • Space pages in the ‘Guestbook’ tab

  • Curated’s editorial & social channels

The more complete and specific your content, the more places it can show up.
