How Curated makes Collaborations Nice & Simple

Your step-by-step roadmap from “interested” to “booked in.”

We get it, content collaborations and partnerships can feel like the wild west sometimes. We’re streamlining and simplifying things to help you stay at the country’s best independent and soulful spaces - and get paid for it.

Step 1: Make your Curated profile irresistible

Before applying, take a moment to make sure your profile is looking spot on.

  • Upload a clear, on-brand photo

  • Add a short, punchy bio (“Boutique hotels, soft mornings, and sea swims”)

  • Create at least one destination guide

  • Save 5–10 spaces you genuinely love

You’re showing hotels: “I get your world. I live here.”

Step 2: Find spaces you would love to partner with

Head to the Collabs tab in your Curator dashboard to explore Curated’s handpicked collection of independent & soulful spaces. Focus on ones that match your:

  • Visual aesthetic

  • Audience interests

  • Location plans (where you’ll already be or can easily travel)

Step 3: Write a stand-out proposal

To send a message to one of our spaces, hit ‘Send Proposal’ to share a brief message including:

  • Why you love the space (specific details, not generic praise)

  • A simple content concept

    • “Morning routine in your garden suite”

    • “A 48-hour slow-living guide to your town”

  • Add relevant links to past content that match the style you’d shoot there.

  • Keep it under 5–7 sentences, but make every one count.

This is sent straight to the space (usually their founder/owner or a dedicated Marketing/PR contact) who will personally review your proposal.

Step 4: Once your proposal is accepted

Once your proposal is accepted, a new collaboration will appear in your pipeline and we’ll loop you in with the space to:

  • Confirm deliverables by agreeing a scope

  • Lock in dates for your stay

Then, it’s just like any other collaboration so get those bags packed and start getting excited.

Step 5: During your stay

This is where the magic happens, you’re finally on the trip so please and enjoy and keep doing what you do best:

  • Capturing lots of content – rooms, food, little moments

  • Sharing to Stories while you’re there to give people that behind the scenes experience with you

  • Before you arrive, we’ll autocreate a Check-In on Curated for your stay and send the link to you.

    • Drop this link into your Stories when you share content to make it super easy for your community to click through to save and book

    • This is one of the easiest ways to turn curiosity → clicks → bookings.

Step 6: After your stay

Once you’re home, it’s time to turn all that gorgeous content into guides, bookings, and commission. This is where your stay keeps working for you long after checkout.

  • Create your usual content for Instagram, TikTok, blog, newsletter – whatever platforms you use.

  • Then update the check-in we made for you with a low-down of your trip (think: where you stayed, what you did, where you ate).

  • Use this check-in to drive bookings and earn commission

    • For every booking made through your links, you earn 5% of the total booking value.

    • So wherever you’re sharing content from your stay off Curated (stories, posts, a blog, emails), always include the link to your Check-In so anyone who’s interested can click through, save it, book it, and earn you commission.

Step 7: Earn & track commission through Curated

Now it’s time to start earning as people discover and book through your travel recommendations. You’ll be able to view full analytics at the collaboration level including:

  • Post views and engagements

  • Bookings drive & commission generated
