Spaces T&Cs Summary
These Terms of Service were published on 2 June 2025 and last updated on 17 December 2025.
This summary is designed to give you a friendly, high-level overview of what it means to be a Space on Curated. It’s not legally binding and doesn’t replace our full Terms of Service, which you should read in full before getting started.
What is Curated Spaces?
Curated Spaces is a digital discovery and collaboration platform that connects thoughtfully curated accommodation providers (“Spaces”) with inspiring content creators (“Curators”) and discerning travellers (“Guests”).
We help you:
Showcase your space through high-quality, authentic creator content
Get discovered by guests who value great design, storytelling, and trusted recommendations
Work easily with creators on content-led marketing and collaborations
Curated does not manage or operate properties, process bookings, or take guest payments. We’re not a booking agent or PR intermediary — we’re a platform designed to give you visibility, access, and a clear return on great content.
What is your relationship with us?
By listing on Curated, you agree to:
List your space on the Curated platform and keep your information accurate and up to date
Collaborate with Curators through the platform (unless otherwise agreed)
Maintain the quality, safety, and experience your listing promises
You still own and run your business. Guests who discover your space on Curated are always directed to book directly with you using your own booking system, under your own terms.
How do collaborations with Curators work?
We make it easy to partner with content creators. Here’s how it works:
You can receive pitches from Curators for hosted or paid stays — or invite Curators to collaborate with you directly via the platform
You and the Curator agree the details of the stay and deliverables (e.g. content, photography, video, stories)
All communication and coordination happens through the Curated platform, creating a clear record and shared expectations
We provide tools like proposal forms, scope agreements and we’re happy to help if anything gets tricky
Important: Content created as part of a collaboration is owned by the Curator unless a separate usage agreement is agreed. You’re welcome to reshare tagged content organically (with credit), but permission is required for paid ads, email marketing, or website use.
How does pricing work?
Curated operates on an annual listing fee model for Spaces.
Your listing fee and contract term are agreed in writing when you join (or renew)
Your package details, renewal date, and any Founding Space discounts are visible in your dashboard
There is no commission charged on bookings made with guests
Renewals & cancellation
Listings run on an annual contract unless agreed otherwise
We’ll be in touch around two months before your renewal date to check in
If you don’t cancel at least 30 days before the end of your term, your membership will automatically renew on the same basis
How bookings work
When a Guest discovers your space on Curated, they are sent directly to your own booking system (e.g. your website) to complete their reservation.
Please note:
You control pricing, availability, payments, cancellations, and the guest relationship
Attempting to divert or misrepresent bookings in a way that undermines the platform may breach the Terms and lead to removal
Curated does not take payment, handle refunds, or sit within the booking contract
Your responsibilities as a Space
You’re responsible for delivering a great guest experience and keeping your listing accurate.
You must:
Ensure your listing is truthful, current, and representative (no misleading photos or room types)
Keep availability up to date
Maintain clean, safe, and legally compliant accommodation, with appropriate insurance
Respond to enquiries promptly and professionally
Honour confirmed stays with guests and agreed collaborations with Curators
Follow platform policies around fair pricing, communication, and conduct
What you can’t do
To keep Curated fair and trustworthy for everyone, please avoid:
Encouraging guests or creators to bypass the platform in ways that undermine Curated
Soliciting Curators for collaborations off-platform without approval
Using creator content in paid or commercial contexts without a proper licence
Listing inaccurate, duplicate, or misleading availability
Misrepresenting shared or public spaces as private
What Curated handles (so you don’t have to)
We:
Provide visibility, discovery, and editorial placement opportunities
Offer tools to manage creator collaborations smoothly
Support clear communication and expectations between Spaces and Curators
Curate selections, features, and campaigns (where eligible)
We do not:
Guarantee bookings or collaborations
Handle guest payments, refunds, or cancellations
Manage operations, cleaning, or property management
Take responsibility for guest or creator behaviour
Final note
Curated is built on mutual trust, taste, and long-term partnerships. We work best with Spaces who value quality, storytelling, and thoughtful growth — and who want to be part of a community shaping the future of travel.
