Curator T&Cs Summary
These Terms of Service were published on 2 June 2025 and last updated on 17 December 2025.
This summary is designed to give you a friendly, high-level overview of what it means to be a Curator on Curated. It’s not legally binding and doesn’t replace our full Terms of Service, which you should read in full before getting started.
What is Curated Spaces?
Curated Spaces is a digital discovery and collaboration platform that connects exceptional accommodation providers (“Spaces”) with creative tastemakers like you (“Curators”), and the guests who love discovering new places through beautiful, trusted content.
We don’t offer stays or create content ourselves — instead, we help facilitate collaborations between Spaces and Curators, and we help guests discover spaces they’ll go on to book directly with the Space.
Curated does not process bookings or take guest payments. All bookings are completed directly with the Space, under the Space’s own terms.
What does it mean to be a Curator?
You’re an independent creator — not an employee, agent, or representative of Curated. You bring your own voice, style, and audience, whether you’re a photographer, filmmaker, stylist, writer, or all of the above.
As a Curator, you can:
Connect with Spaces for hosted and gifted collaborations
Share spaces you genuinely love with your audience
Curate and share all your travel content in one design-led experience for your community
We provide referral tools (such as tracked links or codes) so booking enquiries you drive can be attributed to you.
How do collaborations work?
Collaborations are agreed directly between you and the Space. Together, you’ll set out:
What you’ll create (e.g. photos, videos, posts, stories)
What you’ll receive (e.g. hosted stay, added experiences, F&B)
Timelines, deliverables, and expectations
Curated provides tools like proposal templates, messaging, and collaboration records to keep things smooth. We can help mediate if something goes off track, but we’re not a party to your agreement with the Space.
We don’t guarantee a set number of collaborations or bookings — opportunities depend on fit, availability, and demand.
How is content shared and licensed?
Any content you create as part of a collaboration:
Always remains your intellectual property, unless you agree otherwise in writing.
May be shared by Curated (always with credit).
Spaces may only use your content organically if:
Their commercial plan includes content usage rights (for example, The Full Monty), and
Usage is limited to up to 5 images per collaboration, with credit.
Organic use means non-paid social posts only.
Any use beyond this — including paid advertising, email marketing, websites, press, or additional assets — requires a separate content licence agreed directly with you (or via Curated if applicable).
If a Space doesn’t have the right plan, they can’t reuse your content without your permission.
Content guidelines – what you can and can’t do
Only share content you own or have permission to use. If it’s not yours, don’t post it.
Be honest and accurate when showcasing a Space — no misleading edits, captions, or claims.
Always follow advertising and disclosure rules (e.g. #ad, #gifted where applicable).
Keep things respectful, truthful, and aligned with Curated’s values.
Misleading or unauthorised content may be removed, and repeated issues could affect future collaborations.
What else should you know?
You must be 18 or over to be a Curator.
You’re responsible for complying with local laws and platform rules.
Keep your account secure and don’t share login details.
We may ask for basic information when you join (e.g. social handles, content style, delivery address if something’s being sent to you).
Finally…
Curated is built around trust, taste, and storytelling. We exist to champion thoughtful creators and meaningful collaborations — and we want you to feel proud of the work you share with your community.
